Development information
The Golden Mile, arguably the most prestigious address in the whole of mainland Spain. A select stretch of coastline from whence the Marbella tourism phenomenon first emanated. First came the exquisite Marbella Club Hotel conceived by legendary socialite Prince Alfonso de Hohenlohe, then the fine Puente Romano Hotel and latterly a handful of other five star establishments. Soft sandy beaches on one side, an imposing backdrop of mountains on the other and just a stone's throw from the vibrant marina of Puerto Banús, this is the 'place to be'.
La Solanilla occupies a special piece of this hallowed ground. A select development of four spacious apartments and one striking penthouse contained within an established residential community of just 22 pastel coloured townhouses. Undoubtedly the address is an asset in itself, but the views are among the best you'll ever chance upon. Remarkably even the ground floor apartments have impressive sea or mountain views, but the penthouse offers a real feast for the eyes. From the wraparound terrace you can take in the instantly recognizable La Concha Mountain to the north, the charming Arabic tiled rooftops to the east, the glistening sea to the south and the most arresting uninterrupted vista to the west comprising King Fayd's palace, the Port of Banús and Gibraltar and Africa beyond. The owner would be the envy of all.

La Solanilla is translated as a 'little sun trap' and every measure has been taken to make the properties exactly that. The sun can be captured from the vast terraces of up to 210m² and from the ground floor private gardens of up to 580m², ideal for installing a swimming pool. The owner will also enjoy maximum natural light inside from the many windows and the cream marble flooring and light paintwork.
Attention to detail and Andalucian architecture is evident throughout; wrought iron hinges, rustic style wooden window frames, shutters and wardrobe doors and feature stone fireplace in the lounge. As you would expect from a quality developer such as Hecuator, prevalent on the coast for 29 years, there is individually controlled hot and cold air conditioning and bathrooms boast underfloor heating.
Although the generous proportions and imposing architecture give the feeling that you are living in your own private villa, you benefit from the security of being within a gated community and a refreshing freeform pool surrounded by manicured gardens and tall pines giving dappled shade.
